How To Book Bert?

Step 1

Check Berts availability for the week in the calendar below?

Step 2

Pay non-refundable booking deposit. Once we have received your booking deposit, the booking is secured. Payments are accepted through PayPal. Please note drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 70 and have maximum 6 points on their license.

Step 3

Please complete the insurance form (download via this link) or alternatively download from the email link on the booking/confirmation email and send to booking@cosycampervan.com

Step 4

Pay remaining balance 28 days before van collection. Once we received the completed insurance form from you, we will be able to advise you about any possible insurance surcharges if it is applicable. If the booking is done less than 4 weeks before departure, we will ask you to pay the full balance at the time of booking via PayPal.

Step 5 – Pay Security Deposit, Pick Up Bert and Start Your Adventure

Security deposit is £500. It must be paid via bank transfer before the collection of the camper. The security deposit is held for the duration of rental and returned within 7 days on the safe return of the camper and its contents.

Please note, bedding can be provided at an extra cost of £20 per bed.

The charges are £85 per night (£595 per week). Also, 72 hours minimum gap is required between bookings for cleaning purposes.

Bert

Meet Bert, Bert is a 2004 VW T5 SWB which was converted to a campervan in 2014.  As he is a Short Wheel Base van he is easy to drive around even the narrowest of country roads and ideal for those with little or no experience in driving a van.

With his top popped up he can sleep 2/3 adults comfortably.  He is fitted with a 2 ring gas burning hob, sink and fridge which can all be run from the leisure battery while wild camping.  He also has a 240v electrical hook up allowing you to connect to electric systems in campsites and a domestic socket so you can bring your own electrical devices that you may have at home.

Bert comes complete with everything you might need for a week away touring Scotland including outdoor table and chairs, a fully stocked kitchen and even enough tea, coffee, milk and sugar for that all important cuppa on your first morning in the van.

Booking is easy, just fill out the booking and insurance forms provided and email to the campervan owner along with a £200 (non-refundable) deposit to secure your booking. The final balance should be paid 28 days before your arranged pick up date.  A security deposit of £500 is due before pick up, this will be held for the duration of your rental and will be refunded to you within 7 days of the safe return of the campervan and its contents.
